You are stressed out and you want things to be better, inside and outside.
Maybe you’ve been feeling triggered and are beginning to wonder how you can get through your days with more ease.
You’ve considered therapy a few times over the last few months, and you are now ready to take the plunge and give it a try.
And you want someone close to home or close to work.
But you work in Long Island City.
So do I.
I’m happy to announce the opening of my general practice in Long Island City, Queens. Steps from the Court Square subway stop and from the Citibank building, and convenient to many area businesses, across the street from Murray Playground/Park and the LIC Corner Cafe, I’m also convenient to Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights and Greenpoint and the 7, E, M and G trains.
I treat all the usual therapy issues, stress and anxiety, both generalized anxiety and panic attacks, low motivation and feelings of depression. I specialize in relationships: parent/child relationships, how trauma impacts us in all areas of our lives, and relationships–people who have difficulty connecting and those who get too connected too fast and can’t let go. I have a special love of working with adult adoptees, and they make up a large part of my Manhattan practice, so if you are adopted or resonate with some of these issues, even better.
Contact me for more information; we will have a short phone conversation to see if it seems like I can help you and if so we would set up a first appointment.
